Appion is a “pipeline” for processing and analysis of EM images. Appion is integrated with Leginon data acquisition but can also
be used stand-alone after uploading images
(either digital or scanned micrographs) or particle stacks using a set of provided tools. Appion consists of a web based user interface linked to a set of python scripts that control several underlying integrated processing packages. All data input and output within Appion is managed using tightly integrated SQL databases. The goal is to have all control of the processing pipeline managed from a web based user
interface and all output from the processing presented using web based viewing tools.

How am I charged?

The Virtual Machines have a flat rate per month regardless if the machine is on or off. For the moment we can offer a great deal for the A6000 cards, of 129.99 per week or 499.99 per month. Hourly billing is coming soon. Offer is subject to availability.

All our GPU servers are hosted in Germany and Romania in a professional grade data center. There are multiple 20 Gb up-links available and data is stored on redundant flash drives.

We do not offer a free trial, but you can request a full refund if you’re experiencing technical issues. You’ll receive a refund within 5 – 10 business days.

Send a cancellation request in your account to fully cancel the service. You will not be billed from the next month on and until them you can download any data you want from your machines – all saved games, etc.
